Irish History: The History of the Conflict 1987-1998 (8 weeks, Fridays)

This Irish History course invites adults to explore a key period in Ireland’s recent past, focusing on the history of the conflict from 1987 to 1998. The course offers a clear and accessible introduction to this important and complex time.

Each session will explore significant events, people, and developments, helping you build an understanding of how this period shaped Irish society, particularly in the context of conflict and change. The sessions are structured to encourage discussion and reflection in a respectful and supportive learning environment.

No previous knowledge is required, just curiosity and an interest in learning more about Irish history.
